Admission Process


Advertisement for admissions is given in July/August. RCRS admits 50 students in DPT and 20 in BS-SLP per year from all over Pakistan.. The admission will be based on merit through Admission Committee of RCRS in accordance with the policies laid down by Khyber Medical University. The candidates are required to apply online on the prescribed application form.



  • Applicants who have passed HSSC or equivalent qualification and holding Pakistani CNIC / Form-B
  • Applicants must have passed HSSC (Pre-medical) with at least 60% marks.
  • Applicants who have taken A-level exams must submit an equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC) Islamabad or regional Offices with the application form.
  • Maximum age limit is 25 years.
  • Candidates who have appeared in the PM&DC Entry Test for Medical and Dental Colleges (conducted by KMU) for the current year.



  • Application form should be submitted ONLINE using URL 
  • Candidates should read the Prospectus for Health Education Program.
  • Short listed candidates shall be required to produce the following documents in original at the time of interview 
    •  4 recent passport size photographs.
    • SSC Certificate and DMC or IBCC Equivalence.
    • F.Sc. (Pre-medical)  Certificate and DMC or  IBCC Equivalence. 
    • CNIC/Form-B
  • The submitted documents will be sent to issuing authorities for verification.
  • RCRS reserves the right to revoke admission and registration if the information provided by the candidate proves to be incorrect/false.
  • Entry Test for Medical and Dental Colleges (conducted by KMU) is mandatory for applicants of DPT/BS-SLP unless mentioned otherwise.



Step I. Submitting complete online application form in accordance with eligibility criteria set forth.

Step 2. Applicants will be short listed for interview based on aggregate weightage of SSC Equivalent, HSSC/Equivalent in addition to recent ETEA Test (unless mentioned otherwise). Interview of shortlisted candidates will be held on the dates communicated to them individually. The interview will be conducted by a panel of experts to assess the candidate’s aptitude for the profession, personality, communication skills, confidence, leadership qualities and personal manifestation approach in his/ her field of interest. Interview panel reserves the final rights to accept or refuse admission to a candidate without providing any reason.

Step 3. Upon completion of the interview, provisionally short listed candidates will undergo a general medical examination by RMI appointed medical board, which shall issue certificate of fitness.
Step 4. Selection shall be based on review of all the above achievements. Successful applicants shall be communicated individually according to the Final Merit List.

Step 5. AII successful candidates will be informed through an Admission offer letter sent to them individually communicating the joining instructions. All such candidates will have to submit two sets of attested photo copies of the following documents at the time of joining:

  • Four (04) recent  passport size photographs.
  • SSC Certificate and DMC or IBCC Equivalence.
  • F.Sc. (Pre-medical)  Certificate and DMC or  IBCC Equivalence. 
  • CNIC / Form-B

Along with an undertaking, of the candidate and father/guardian, on Judicial stamp papers of Rs.50/- , duly attested by Notary Public as per specimen given in Prospectus.

The interview for admission will be conducted by a panel of experts in lieu with the policies of RCRS.



A merit-list along with a waiting-list of the selected candidates shall be available in the Students Affairs Office (SAO). The candidates may inquire about their status from the SAO. Students will be asked to complete the admission requirements within stipulated period given in the admission offer letter. In case of any failure to respond by the given date, the seat will be allotted to the next candidate appearing on the waiting list.



All admitted students shall be registered with RCRS as well as Khyber Medical University (KMU).
They will be considered as registered students of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelors of Science in Speech & Language Pathology (BS-SLP) Program respectively.
