RCRS Holds Proposal Defense for Final-Year DPT and SLP Students

The Rehman College of Rehabilitation Sciences (RCRS) conducted its Proposal Defense for final-year students enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) programmes, marking an important step in the academic calendar.

The exercise forms a core component of RCRS’s academic training process, aimed at strengthening students’ research capacity at an advanced level.

During the proceedings, final-year students presented and defended their research proposals before an academic panel. Students demonstrated clarity of thought, methodological understanding, and engagement with scholarly inquiry throughout the session.

The exercise required students to articulate their research objectives, justify their chosen methodologies, and respond to academic scrutiny — preparing them for the demands of professional and academic life ahead.

Internal Examiner Dr. Haider Darain (PT) evaluated the presented proposals and provided critical appraisal and scholarly feedback. His input offered students clear direction for the refinement and improvement of their proposed studies.

The Proposal Defense reflects RCRS’s commitment to research-led education across its rehabilitation sciences programmes.
