RCRS Students Mark World Physical Therapy Day With Creativity, Awareness
Rehman College of Rehabilitation Sciences (RCRS) marked World Physical Therapy Day on 16 September with a celebration that blended creativity with awareness. Held in the college’s seminar hall and organised by the Literary Society, the event drew strong student participation.
Centred on the global theme Healthy Ageing with a Focus on Falls and Frailty, the programme featured a model competition and an art competition. Students explored ageing, mobility, and resilience through innovative work that was both thoughtful and visually striking.
Prizes were awarded to winners and runner-ups, with cash awards and framed certificates recognising their efforts. Dr Muhammad Bin Afsar Jan, Dean of Allied Health Sciences, attended as chief guest, praising the initiative and commending students for their creativity.
Organisers described the event as a chance not only to celebrate World PT Day but also to give students a platform to express themselves and engage with the wider meaning of physical therapy in society. The Literary Society closed the event by extending best wishes to physiotherapists and students worldwide.
