About Rehman College of Rehabilitation Sciences
Rehman College of Rehabilitation Sciences (RCRS) was established in 2012 to serve as a center of excellence in rehabilitation sciences education, clinical skills and need-based research. RCRS aims to produce professionally safe, competent, reflective and analytical Rehabilitation Specialists by challenging conventional practices and creating new ways of developing and delivering courses.
Over the years, the college has expanded in its services and stature and has emerged as a leading rehabilitation college in the region. It started its journey with a five-year program of Doctor of Physical therapy (DPT), and later started the four-year Bachelor of Speech & Language Pathology (BS-SLP) program. RCRS is affiliated with Khyber Medical University and is known to have one of the best faculty, infrastructure and resources. The passionate, supportive and highly qualified faculty of RCRS utilize its competency in the students’ academic, personal & professional success. They invest in the delivery of scientific knowledge with the understanding of research and awareness of the dynamic diversity of healthcare practices. RCRS feels proud for its network of 135 alumni spread across the globe who inspire us to continue striving.
RCRS has its own 500 bedded teaching hospital and a well-equipped clinical department for clinical placements and trainings. The students and faculty of RCRS have easy access to academic, clinical training and research areas in the hospital for their professional development and trainings. Besides, RCRS provides opportunities to maximize students’ potential with multipurpose recreational spaces, technology enabled classrooms, skill lab, state of the art computer and basic sciences labs, library and seminar rooms.
Life at RCRS is amazing with respect to academics and co-curricular activities. Students have the opportunity to express their skills and take part in extracurricular activities. From regular classes, academic activities and clinical rotations to annual dinners, sports weeks, funfairs, cultural days and alumni gatherings, students at RCRS gets a productive thrilling and adventurous experience aiming to build their life at RCRS a memorable one.
